HueVaultKit does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information.
HueVaultKit is a colour-palette studio that builds harmonies from a seed tone, audits their WCAG contrast, and keeps the sets you like in an offline vault on your phone. The pages that follow describe, in plain language, what the app does and does not do with the things you type into it.
None. There is no account to create, no sign-in, no email prompt, and no analytics or advertising identifier. The app never asks who you are, and it has no server to tell.
For the app to work, the following is kept in the operating system's local storage, on your phone, and nowhere else:
hue_vault.db) — the palette name you type, its colour values, the harmony rule used, any tags you add, whether you starred it, and the time it was saved.None of it is uploaded. Uninstalling the app removes every byte.
No runtime permissions are requested. HueVaultKit never asks for the camera, microphone, location, contacts, photo library, or storage access. The Android manifest declares only the standard INTERNET permission, which Flutter includes by default for debug tooling; the released app makes no network calls with it.
Nothing. The app contains no HTTP client, no socket code, and no backend endpoint. Every palette is generated by arithmetic performed on your device. You can run HueVaultKit in airplane mode indefinitely and lose no functionality.
The one exception is entirely under your control: when you use the share action, the palette text you chose is handed to the system share sheet, and whatever app you pick next — mail, messages, notes — receives it under that app's own privacy policy.
No one. There is no analytics SDK, no crash reporter, no advertising library, and no in-app purchase or billing integration. The third-party packages the app does use — for charts, animation, local storage, SVG rendering and the share sheet — run entirely on-device and transmit nothing.
HueVaultKit is safe for all ages and is not directed at children specifically. Because it collects no personal information from anyone, it cannot collect any from a child under 13, which keeps it clear of COPPA and the GDPR's provisions on children's data by design rather than by promise.
Everything the app holds is already in your hands. You can view any saved palette in the vault, edit its name and tags, export it as hex, RGB, HSL, CSS custom properties or JSON, and delete it with a swipe. Because we hold no copy of your data, there is nothing for us to disclose, correct, or erase on your behalf — uninstalling the app deletes the database and preferences completely and irreversibly.
If anything in this policy changes, the date at the top of the page will be revised, and material changes will appear in the app's release notes.
